Home Services for Seniors
Our mandate is to assist seniors in enjoying their homes by employing us to do those odd jobs that can be difficult to complete. Our support enables people ages 55+ to stay comfortable in their homes for longer. Home Services is a paid opportunity for our participants and an excellent opportunity to become equipt with household tasks, cleaning regiments, social skills, and more.
Home Services has two sectors: home care—cleaning, lawn maintenance, grocery or prescription pickup, meal prep, and more! And events. Events are offered to people ages 55+ in the community and are completely free! Events CCOA has offered include flower arranging, painting, book swap, Yankee puzzle “swap,” outings to the movies, Peggys Cove, and Clay Cafe.
